As all of our members are volunteer and receive no compensation, all costs of training, equipment, travel, and care for animals comes out of pocket. LCSAR does not charge or accept payment for its services.
All of LCSAR’s funding comes from sponsors, members, and donations from the community. Your gift helps LCSAR recruit, train and support the work of its active volunteers.
Some of our goals for this year that your donation will assist with include:
- Managing the Lost Person Incident Course
- Canine Team National Certifications
- ADSAR/SARTECH I Certifications
- Purchase a trailer for the team (our previous trailer is no longer in service)
- Upgrade communications equipment

Clear out your closet, get a tax deduction, and help save a life! LCSAR can use a wide variety of search and rescue equipment, including an enclosed trailer, computers, software, personal protection equipment, night vision goggles, and other gear. One of the simplest ways to give is to write a check. Provide your name as you wish to be listed in our records and online (or let us know if you wish to remain anonymous), provide your preferred contact information and email address, and mail this information along with your check to:
